POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCHER
Oihane Llorente earned her B. Sc. in Chemistry (2013) and M. Sc. in Applied Chemistry and Polymeric Materials(2014) from the University of the Basque Country. In 2013 she obtained a collaboration grant from the Basque Government and she carried out a research project on the synthesis of waterborne UV curable polyurethane acrylates. Her current research topics are more focused on the synthesis and characterization of adhesives based on thiol-ene "click" reactions

Dr. Andere Basterretxea earned her PhD from the University of Basque Country and the University of Mons in September 2019 under the supervision of Dr. Haritz Sardon and Dr. Olivier Coulembier. Since October 2019, she works as post-doctoral researcher in the Innovative Polymers Group headed by Prof. David Mecerreyes and Dr. Haritz Sardon studying the use of less hazardous organocatalysts and bio-based monomers to prepare high added value polymers.

Dr. Eva Sánchez Rexach earned her technical certificate in Industrial Chemistry, as well as her degree in Industrial Organization from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) under the supervision of Prof. Emiliano Meaurio and Prof. Jose-Ramon Sarasaua. In 2019 she earned a Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie (MSCA) Global Fellowship, and she is currently at the University of Washington in Seattle, carrying out a project that combine new fully biodegradable water-filled hydrogels with additive manufacturing or 3D printing to design smart materials that can undergo a temporal change in their shape under the influence of an external stimulus, under the supervision of Dr. Alshakim Nelson, and under the guidance of Dr.Haritz Sardon.

Dr. Ainara Sangroniz earned her PhD in Macromolecular Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) under the supervision of Prof. Agustin Etxeberria and Prof. Marian Iriarte in 2020. She has been working with sustainable packagin materials during her thesis and she has been able to publish more than 18 articles. She is now working in the group in collaboration with Prof. Eugene Chen in the design of intrinsically fully recyclable polymers.
